Welcome to DeSoto Central's Jag TV website. Jag TV is a High Tech Video Production for students enrolled at DeSoto Central High School. Each week, students produce a short episode that has a variety of segments from funny to serious to highlight clubs, sports, students, and more at the school. Jag TV students are also responsible for live streaming events and creating hype videos. Check out all the amazing things these students are doing!
Jag TV traveled to the University of Mississippi in April 2019 for the annual Mississippi Scholastic Press Association conference and awards. This was the first time they attended or submitted entries for awards. They were awarded the MSPA Technology Grant and were finalist in several categories: Best Creativity Broadcast/Publication, Best Online Streaming Program Broadcast/Publication, and Broadcast Advisor of the Year.
